Security & SSL

SSL certificates on your hosting plan

What SSL does, how activation is managed, and what to do if your site shows a warning.

What SSL gives you

An SSL certificate encrypts traffic between the visitor and your website and is what makes https:// work. Browsers mark sites without it as "not secure".

Activation

Certificate provisioning depends on the plan and the control panel in use. If a certificate is included in your plan, activation is normally completed by our team after the domain resolves to our servers. Ask support if you are unsure whether a certificate has been issued for your domain.

If you see a browser warning

1. Check that the domain resolves to our hosting (see the DNS article).

2. Check the exact URL — a certificate issued for yourdomain.com does not cover www.yourdomain.com unless it is also configured.

3. Contact admin@aws-pro.com with the domain and the warning text.

Safe practice

  • Never enter hosting or mailbox passwords on a page you reached from an unsolicited email.
  • Keep separate passwords for the control panel, Webmail and your domain registrar.
